Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large sweet onion, chopped
2 pounds ground burger
Water
4 T. beef flavored soup base, not bouillon cubes (I use Orrington Farms brand)
1 T. garlic powder
1 t. pepper
½ cup flour
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet cook beef and onions together, and drain, if necessary.

Add enough water to just cover the meat. Add soup base, garlic, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Meanwhile dissolve the flour into the water. Stir briskly to break up limps.

Stirring constantly, slowly add flour mixture until thickened to the consistency you like. Thickened, but not liquidy.

Continue cooking about 5 minutes, so gravy does not taste like flour.

Serve over mashed potatoes.
