2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 large instant vanilla pudding mix (no milk)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups butter (3 sticks), softened but not melted
3 eggs
4 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/2 cups raisins

Directions:

Mix flour and soda-set aside.
In a large mixing bowl beat butter with sugars and pudding mix. Add eggs and mix well. Gradually stir in flour and then the oats and raisins. Batter will be stiff.
Drop by Tablespoon amounts onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375* for 10-12 min.
