2 slices of bacon
8 oz. penne pasta
1 onion; chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 c. shredded cheddar cheese
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Fry bacon. Drain, crumble and set aside. Cook pasta, drain. An a medium skillet saute the chopped onion and minced garlic. Remove from heat and add crumbled bacon. Set aside. To make the sauce, in a medium saucepan melt the butter over low heat. Add flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Gradually add milk and stir until thickened. Add in 2 cups of cheddar cheese and stir until melted. Combine cooked pasta, onion/bacon mix and sauce. Pour into an open casserole pan or dish. Top with remaining cheddar. Bake until cheese on top is melted and brown; 15 - 20 minutes.
