3/4 cup onion, diced
3/4 cup green pepper
1/2 cup shortening or butter
1 lb ground beef
1 can cream style corn
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz) can black olives sliced
1 (10 1/2 oz) can tomato soup
1 (4 oz) jar pimentos
1/2 tsp chile powder
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dry mustard
8-10 slices Velveeta cheese (for top of casserole)
8 oz package of egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Sautee onion and pepper in butter. Brown ground beef. Cook egg noodles as directed on package. Drain ground beef and add remaining ingredients (and onion and pepper). Pour into a 9x13 pan. Place Velveeta on top. Bat at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cover with foil until last 5 or 10 minutes.
