2 pounds stew meat
2 chopped onions
3 to 4 chopped carrots
3 to 4 chopped potatoes
2 slivered green peppers
2 stalks celery, chopped
3 cups water
Garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in Dutch oven in a little oil. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt, onions, green peppers, carrots and add water slowly. Let it cook down for about an hour and a half. If needed add more water. You can cook this on the stove top or in the oven at 350°. Then add celery and cook one more hour. Add potatoes and cook one half hour more. Add dumplings made from Bisquick recipe on box. Cook covered 10 minutes and then uncovered 10 more minutes or until dumplings are done.
