4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 yeast cake
1/2 c. room temp. water
1 to 2 Tbsp. fennell
1/2 c. olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Mix flour and salt in bowl, and make a well in the middle. In well, put 2 eggs, yeast mixture, oil and fennell. Mix everything together until firm enough to roll like a cigar. (Add more flour if needed) Form a circle with 'cigar.'
(Optional-Brush top with beaten egg) Bake at 400º until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.

This is like an Italian Bagel. You can dip them in your coffee. My Mother liked to make these for her brothers.
