1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup shortening
2 rounded cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 level tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
In 1 pt. measuring cup put 1/2 cup water, add shortening putting in 1 Tbsp at a time until water and shortening measure 1 1/2 cups. Beat while melting, add dry ingredients. Put into refrigerator to get cold before rolling out for baking.
