1 c. orange juice
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
6 Tsp. baking powder
1 Tsp. baking soda
5-6 c. flour
Sesame seeds
1 egg

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF, 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown on top and bottom.

In a large mixing bowl combine orange juice, sugar and oil. Dissolve the sugar in the liquid ingredients. Add 1 c. of flour and the baking powder and baking soda; mix until incorporated into the liquids, making sure no lumps remain. Continue to add flour 1 cup at a time, until the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Once the dough is ready, take a rounded tablespoon and roll it in the palms of your hands like a meatball. Place the meatball on your counter and roll it back and forth with the palm of your hands into a long strand (about 7 or 8" long). Braid the strand and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. whisk the one egg in a bowl and brush over the cookies and then sprinkle each cookie with sesame seeds. Try not to place cookies to close to one another on the sheet as they will rise and then stick to each other.
