Mix A:1 box yellow cake mix. 1 stick melted butter. 1 beaten egg. Mix B: 1 lb box sifted confectioners sugar. 1 8oz pkg cream cheese (at room temperature). 3 beaten eggs. 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

Combine ingredients for Mix A. Press into bottom of 9 x 12 x 2 greased and floured cake pan. Combine ingredients for Mix B, pour on top of cake mix. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool completely: cut into squares. Lemon cake mix may be substituted for regular cake mix.
