1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking soda. Beat into butter mixture. Stir in oats and pecans.

Drop batter by heaping teaspoons on cookie sheets spacing about 2" apart (cookies will spread.) Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool on pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
