3 T. shortening
3 T. flour
1 1/2 c.milk
1 c. shrimp, coarsely broken
2 T. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening in double boiler. Blend in flour and milk gradually, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cook 10 to 15 minutes longer. Add shrimp and seasonings. Stir occasionally until hot. Remove from heat. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
