3 lbs red cabbed, shredded (discard tough pieces)
1/4 c. butter
1 T. red wine vinegar
1 T. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. red currant jelly
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook cabbage in butter, stirring for 3 to 4 minutes. Add vinegar, sugar and water. Simmer for 1 hour then add jelly, salt and pepper to taste.
