1 c softened butter or margarine
1/2 c confectioners sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 c chopped walnuts
1 3/4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine or butter. Add confectioner sugar, vanilla and salt and beat till light. Stir in nuts and flour. Wrap dough in waxed paper and chill well. Divide dough into 8 parts. On a lightly floured board, shape 1 part of dough into 1/2 inch diameter roll. Cut 2 inch pieces and shape into crescent.
Place onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 300º for 18-20 minutes.
Sift confectioners sugar over top of cookies. Store in air tight container. These freeze well.
