6 c. flour
2 c. Sugar
1 c. Currants or Raisins
6 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
Heaping tsp. Nutmeg
3 Sticks Butter
3 Eggs - Beaten
1/2 c. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the flour, sugar, currants, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. In a separate bowl mix together at room temperature the butter, eggs and milk. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until dough is smooth.
Roll the dough and cut with circle cutter. Fry in electric fry pan or griddle until brown on both sides.
