3 Tbsp butter
1/2 large onion, finely chopped
16oz package frozen broccoli florets
4 (14.5 oz) cans chicken broth
1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed VERY small
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
2 cups milk
1 Tbsp garlic powder
2/3 cup cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
*In a large pot, melt butter. Cook onion until tender.

*Remove 1 cup of broth from a can; set aside.

*Add broccoli to pot. Pour in 3 cans and remainder of 4th can of chicken broth. Boil for 5-10 minutes or until broccoli is tender.

*Pour 1/2 of soup into blender or food processor and pulse until smooth. Add back to pot. Add cheeses and stir until melted. Pour in milk and garlic powder and stir until combined. Raise heat until soup is almost boiling.

*In a small bowl, combine reserved broth and cornstarch. Add to soup. Cook 3-5 minutes or until soup is thickened.
