2 lbs. boneless beef, cut in 2 inch cubes
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
3 tbsp. shortening
1 c. water
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 bouillon cube
3 whole cloves
6 small onions
6 medium sized potatoes
4 medium sized carrots, cut in half
10 oz. pkg. frozen peas
1 c. sliced celery
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Coat meat with mixture of flour, salt, paprika, and pepper. Slowly brown in shortening in large skillet or Dutch oven, about 30 minutes. Add water, tomato sauce, bouillon cube, and cloves. Cover. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add onions, potatoes, and carrots, Cover. Simmer 45 minutes longer. Add remaining vegetables and water. Cover. Continue cooking for 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
