Peach French Toast Recipe

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. water
1 29-oz. can sliced peaches, drained
12 slices day-old French bread
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, butter and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer and stir for 10 minutes. Pour into greased 9x13” pan. Pour peaches over sauce and spread bread over peaches. Whisk eggs, milk and vanilla and slowly pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Take out 30 minutes before baking and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Uncover, bake for 25 minutes.
