3 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275ºF. Beat egg, tartar, and salt until soft peaks form. Beat sugar in 2 Tbsp at a time until glossy stiff peaks form. Spread on cookie sheet for 'pizza' effect or drop spoonfuls for individual servings. Bbake 1 1/4 hours (until slightly brown but stiff throughout) Cool 10 min on sheet then remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Add favorite fruit (kiwi quite appropriate) and whipped cream (traditionally flavored with almond.)
