1 pkg. (6 oz.) Uncle Ben's Long Grain Wild Rice
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. milk
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. cooked cubed chicken
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1/3 c. pimientos
1/3 c. parsley flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice per package instructions. While cooking rice, melt butter; add onion & cook until tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper & gradually add milk & broth. Cook until thickened; then stir in chicken, pimiento, parsley, almonds, rice. Pour into 2 quart greased casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 375º for 30 minutes.
