2 sleeves Saltines, crumbled
2 pints oysters
butter
salt & pepper
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a round 3 quart casserole dish.
Layer in order:
crumbled crackers
oysters
pats of butter
salt & pepper
Repeat. Finish with crackers on top.
Pour milk into dish along edges. Add milk until it comes even with the top of the crackers.
Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until set. Check once or twice during cooking, and add more milk if milk level has dropped below the top layer of the crackers.
