2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup curants
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup no-fat sour cream
2 eggs
1 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425
Stir flour,baking powder and sugar in bowl
Rub butter into mixture until texture is like fine crumbs
Add currants(if using)

Blend sour cream and milk
Separate one egg,reserving white
Combine yolk,second egg, milk mixture and mix together well

Add wet ingrdients to dry/crumb mixture and combine

I just form into round scone shapes
Place scones on ungreased cookie sheet
Brush tops with egg white and sprinkle with sugar

Bake until golden brown-10 to 15 mins.

I usually skip currants, but sometimes add chocolate chips- they are fine just plain!
