1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbls baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup margarine
6 oz. pkg. dried fruit
1/2 cup milk
1 egg lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in margarine until mixture is coarse crumbs stir in the fruit. Add milk, egg, mixing, just until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape dough to form a ball. Turn out onto a lightly floured board. Knead gently (about 6 times). On a lightly greased cookie sheet, pat dough out to form 8 inch circle. With a sharp knife, score round into 12 wedges, sprinkle with combined sugar and cinnamon. Bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Break apart and serve warm.
