2/3 cup blanched almonds, ground
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 Tbs. all-purpose flour
2 Tbs. milk

Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease and flour cookie sheet. In 10-inch skillet over low heat, cook all ingredients, stirring just until mixture is blended. Keeping mixture warm over very low heat, drop 4 heaping teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, on sheet. Bake 5 minutes. When cookies are golden, remove cookie sheet from oven and, with spatula, loosen and lift cookies one by one. Roll each cookie around handle of wooden spoon (or just roll with your hands) and cool. If cookies get too hard, quickly reheat in oven. Finish cooling on rack.
