1 baked 9 inch pie shell
4 slightly beaten egg yolks
4 egg whites
1/2 cups of half and half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
6 ounces swiss cheese, grated

Sauce:
71/2 ounces can crab meat, drained
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Bake pie shell at 450 degrees for 7 minutes then reduce to 350 degrees until lightly brown. Combine egg yolks, cream, salt, and nutmeg. Beat egg whites, separately, until stiff peaks form and fold into egg mixture. Fold in grated cheese and pour into shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean when tested. Let it stand for 5 minutes. Serve with crab meat sauce: heat 7 1/2 ounce can crab meat, drained and flaked with 2 tablespoons butter. Blend in 2 teaspoons flour and 1/8 teaspoon of salt. Add 1 cup of half and half and cook and stir until thickened.
