2 1/4 c of All purpose flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of salt
1 c (2 sticks) of butter, softened
3/4 c of granulated sugar
3/4 c of packed brown sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 c (12 oz) of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º Combine flour, soda and salt in a small mixing bowl-set aside. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl till creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour mixture slowly. Stir in by hand chocolate chips. Drop by rounded T onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cool 2 min on sheet and then transfer to wire racks to cool.

In addition to the other chocolate chip cookie recipe that is in this book here is a traditional one that I made most of the time for you guys.

You can add in M & M's or butterscotch chips, or whatever you like.
