1 head Chinese (Napa) cabbage
1/4 c. butter/margarine
2 pkg. ramen noodles, broken in pieces
1 small pkg. sliced almonds
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ramen noodles and almonds in butter. Stir in sesame seeds. Cool. For one minute, boil together oil, sugar, soy sauce and vinegar. Cool completely. Slice cabbage crosswise into small pieces. Toss all ingredients together just before serving. It's important not to let this salad to sit too long--it gets soggy.

Make it a meal by adding some cooked, shredded chicken. Add some sliced green onions if you like.
