1 package hush puppy mix
1 large onion, diced

Directions:
Prepare hush puppy mix according to package, add onion, if desired. Heat oil in deep fryer. When oil is hot, drop in batter by spoonfuls. Allow to brown on one side and then flip over to brown on other side. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
