2 tbsp cornstarch
2 c. milk
4 tsp margarine
8 oz. shredded cheese
salt and pepper

In non stick medium pot, melt butter, mix cornstarch and milk and stir until well blended. Slowly add liquid to melted butter, stirring until thickened, add cheese until thoroughly melted and then season with salt and pepper.

This can be used for a topping over potatoes or broccoli.
