1/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease muffin cups. Mix shortening, flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture alternatively with milk.

Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 18-23 minutes. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together and roll hot muffins in melted margarine and then sugar and cinnamon mixture. Best served warm.
