1 10oz. can tomato puree
1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. light brown sugar
salt
2 c. fresh bread cubed in 1" squares, crusts removed
1/4 c. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Put br. sugar, salt, water and puree in sauce pan and boil 5 minutes.
Place bread in buttered casserole. Pour melted butter over the bread.
Add the tomato mixture.

Bake 375º 30 mins.
