2 cups rice, cooked as directed
1 cup milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
2 quarts hot water
3/4 cup raisins
dash Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine rice, milk, brown sugar and butter in a one quart casserole or baking dish.

Place in a larger casserole or baking pan. Fill larger pan with enough hot water to go halfway up the side. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven.

Stir in raisins and vanilla. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Return to oven and bake another 30 minutes.

Serve warm or cold. Pour milk over custard if desired when served.
