2-1/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup nuts
3/4 cup dried cranberries

Directions:

1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl

2. In a separate bowl mix wet ingredients with whisk.

3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients - stir until moist.

4. Add cranberries and nuts.

Divide dough in half - form into log 14x1-1/2 inches. Place logs on cookie sheet and bake at 325ºF for 30 minutes or until firm. Remove to wire rack. Cool. Cut into 1-1/2 inch strips diagonally. Place back on sheet bake at 300ºF for 15-20 minutes.

Icing (optional):
Drizzle with melted white chocolate.
