Ingredients: 1" pieces of chicken, veal and pork wooden skewers 3/4 C. flour salt/pepper/garlic salt 1 egg 1/2 C. milk 1 Can cream chicken soup 1 Can chicken broth

Directions: |
Directions:Mix beaten egg with milk. Mix flour with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Arrange meat on wooden skewer by alternating meat until it resembles and is approximate size of chicken drumstick. Roll in egg/milk and then coat with flour mixture. (Tip: you can put flour mixture in bag and shake if you like.) Brown meat in little olive oil in large skillet. Place in baking pan. Mix soup with broth and pour over meat, cover and bake at 350 for about 1 hour or until meat is thoroughly cooked. |

Notes: I miss City Chicken!! When I was a kid, we had it often -- it was so good. They used to sell it in Ohio -- the packages would contain the skewers and all the meats - you just put it together. So, if they ever start to sell it again, (or I suppose we could buy the meat and cut it ourselves). Here's the recipe -- it's tender and delicious.
