1 c. butter softened, 1 pkg. (8oz.) cream cheese softened, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, 4 eggs, 2 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp.salt, 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, 1/2 c. pecans

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into creamed mixture just until moistened. Add cranberries and pecans. Fill greased or paper lined muffin tin 3/4 the way full. Bake at 350º for 20 - 25 min. Do the toothpick test. If it comes out clean after poking into muffin, the muffins are done.

These can also be made with blueberries, and the cranberry or blueberry spread is an extra treat. M-M-M GOOD
