1 pint bottle white Karo syrup
2 cups white sugar
1 pkg. (12 oz. to 1 lb) raw peanuts
1 1/2 tsp. FRESH baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients together until peanuts and syrup are both the same color brown. (Judging by color works better than any other way)
Remove from heat and stir in FRESH baking soda. Pour into buttered cookie sheets. It is also a good idea to cool quickly - not in refrigerator though. Cool/cold back porch, garage, etc.
Break into pieces.
