1 1/2 C. white sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. milk
6 TBSP. butter
1 1/2 C. pecan halves or pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a heavy iron skillet. Place over moderate heat and rotate skillet back & forth until sugars melt and mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat and cook without stirring until mixture reaches the soft ball stage - 240º on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and beat until pralines begin to thicken. Working quickly spoon out in rounds onto buttered wax paper. .Store in covered tin.
