1 lb. fresh bulk sausage (pork, turkey, beef, chicken)
1 small onion, diced
1 green pepper, seeded & diced
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, diced
8 oz. each of Swiss, cheddar, & mozzarella cheese, shredded
8 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 16-oz. box Pillsbury hot roll mix
1/4 Tbls. oregano
1/4 Tbls. garlic powder
1/4 Tbls. dried crushed hot peppers
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage, onion, green pepper and mushrooms in a large pan. After the sausage mixture cools, add the cheeses.

Make the bread by following the directions on the Pillsbury hot roll mix box. Roll the dough into a rectangle & place on a greased cookie sheet. Distribute the sausage & cheese mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder and hot peppers over the mix.

Roll the dough up & seal the seams with an egg wash. Bake in a 350º oven about 30 minutes until bread is browned. Let cool for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving. Serves 8. Preparation time 30 minutes.

This is a great recipe to make for a crowd -- Eagles game, New Year's, etc. It makes a lot and leftovers can be frozen. The Pillsbury roll mix will make your home smell like a bakery.
