5 tomatoes - peeled (by scoring and dipping in boiling water) then chopped in 1/2 " pieces
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1/4 tsp dried chili flakes (or more to taste!)
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup dry white wine
handful of Basil leaves, sliced
Salt
Pepper, freshly ground
Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until softened. Add chili flakes. Add chopped tomatoes, white wine and salt. Simmer 10 minutes. Take off heat and add freshly ground black pepper and basil leaves. Serves 4. Preparation time 20 minutes.
