1 package yellow cake mix prepared according to package
1 large package strawberry Jell-O, prepared, but not set
1 large container Cool Whip

Bake cake in 9x13 glass baking dish. Just before cake is done, prepare Jell-O and set aside. Remove cake from oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes. Use end of handle of wooden spoon and poke holes in cake. Pour Jell-O over cake allowing it to absorb. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to chill in refrigerator until ready to serve. Just before serving, spread Cool Whip over top of cake. Store covered in refrigerator.
